The HP Pavilion p6720f Desktop PC is a budget computer system so this is not the best one for hardcore gamers. While that may seem like a downside, at least you will be using your time doing actual work instead of playing games.

The HP Pavilion p6720f Desktop PC is just 0 but comes with AMDs 2.9GHz Phenom ll 840T quad-core central processing unit, 6GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. In addition, this computer from HP has the ATI Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics, a DVD burner and 802.11n wireless card.

The computer tower is a stunning black chassis with a glossy front panel, something you wouldnt see on a budget computer. There is an extra bay under the DVD panel if you are looking to add another hard drive or maybe a Blu-Ray player. The width of the PC is about seven inches with the power button at the top for quick access. This computer has a mouse and keyboard set that are wired and rather generic. Although most budget computers are loaded with all types of software, this PC doesnt not have much. It comes with a few software trialware and the essential HP MediaSmart video and music playback suite.

This HP computer also features a 15-in-1 card reader plus a host of input ports. You will also find two USB 2.0 ports, along with the microphone and headphone jacks. Since the HP Pavilion p6720f Desktop PC is a budget computer, and not for multimedia, several things are missing. The back of the PC has four USB 2.0 ports, DVI port, VGA port and a digital audio port. Moreover, the PC features 7.1 surround sound support. As your needs grow, the HP Pavilion p6720f Desktop PC can be very limiting. Inside the case, the wires are all bundled in the center. There isn’t much that can be done in the way of installing more parts. Nonetheless, you can upgrade the video card.

As a gaming PC, the HP Pavilion p6720f is not the most suitable machine or even a PC to even consider. The ATI integrated graphics chip was not designed to handle the graphics involved in most high end games. These low-end computers was not meant for PC gaming. The Micro Express MicroFlex 25B, which will cost you several hundred dollars more, will be a much better alternative for your multimedia entertainment. Despite its graphic shotcomings, the Pavilion p6720f gives a lot of value for the price with generous hard drive space, plenty of RAM and a powerful processor. For what I wanted and the budget I had, this computer was the best option. It was fast, easy and affordable.
